I chose the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial (CC BY‑NC) license for my portfolio because it protects my work while still allowing others to learn from it. Within the week 1 resources, I explored how copyright and intellectual property give creators control over how their work is used. This license supports that principle by requiring attribution and restricting commercial use. This will allow educators and peers to view, share, and reference my materials, but prevents them from profiting from the training artifacts, reflections, and instructional design work I created. This choice reflects my goal of contributing to our learning community while maintaining ownership of my work.
